Fool Proof Biscuits!

They are called drop biscuits to short cut biscuits, but these homemade biscuits are simple, easy, and delicious! Add a molasses, honey, gravy, or lil meat in between, honey that's some good eatin' right there! So, let's get started.

Two Ingredients Biscuit

Things needed:

2 cups Self-Rising Flour

1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream (cold)

Let's Cook

  • Preheat oven to 425.

  • Grease a baking pan or a baking sheet with shortening or line with parchment paper.

  • In a mixing bowl add your 2 cups of flour. Slowly add your heavy whipping cream and mix the flour and mix until it becomes dough. If mixture is too dry, pour two tablespoons of heavy whipping cream, mix.

  • Sprinkle flour on to your clean countertop or clean baking mat.

  • Take dough out of the bowl, place it on top of the sprinkled flour. Fold the dough about 4 times. Spread and flatten dough with your hands to your desired thickness.

  • DO NOT USE A ROLLING PIN.

  • Take biscuit cutter and cut dough. (Use a mason jar if you do not have a biscuit cutter.)

  • Place biscuit in pan a few inches apart. With a bashing or butter brush, brush heavy whipping cream over your biscuit and place in oven.

  • Bake biscuit for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.

  • Once out of the oven, brush biscuits with melted salted butter. (optional)
