SALAD FOR BREAKFAST?

Who says you have to eat standard breakfast food for breakfast?

We have always heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Breakfast fuels your brain and fuels your empty tank after sleeping for 7 to 8 hours. So why not start your morning out with boost of greens!
Here is one of my favorite energy boosting "breakfast" salad recipe!
Breakfast Boost Arugula Salad
1 cup of Arugula- a superfood filled with antioxidants, helps protect against or reverse damage to your cells
2 sliced hard boiled eggs- contains vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, vitamin B6, calcium and zinc.
Crumbled Bacon/Meat (optional)- provides protein, bone health, and muscle strength
Crumbled goat cheese(amount of your choice)- contains antibacterial qualities and has a powerful combination of calcium, phosphorus and copper
A Handful of chopped pecan- energy booster and contains calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which helps lower blood pressure.
A Handful of dried cranberries- a high nutrient anti-inflammatory superfood filled with antioxidants that is able to lower risk of urinary tract infection and has anti-cancer effects
Strawberries slices- high levels of antioxidants, packed with fiber, lowers blood pressure, increase good cholesterol and fights against cancer,
4 grapes tomatoes - contains vitamin C, potassium, vitamin B9, vitamin K. calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Helps lower blood pressure and the risk of heart disease and cancer.
Raspberry or Strawberry Balsamic Vinaigrette - aid in healthy digestion, blood circulation, weight loss, lower cholesterol, and a glowing complexion!
