Fresh & Fruity Summer Salad

Honey, when I tell you this delicious fruit salad took care of my monstrous sweet tooth, it took my sweet cravings from Experiment 626 to cuddly blue Stitch in one bite!

Fruits are nature's candy, packed full of health-

boosting antioxidants and fiber preventing digestion problems along with lowering your risk for heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.

So pull out your mandoline slicer and go to work!

Don't just limit yourself to the fruits listed below,

go all in!

Not only will your sweet tooth thank you for this great treat, but your body will too!

Fresh & Fruity Summer Salad

You will need:

  • 1 Green Apple

  • 1 Red Apple

  • 2 Large plums

  • 1 Large carrot

  • 1 Peach

  • 1 Nectarine

  • 1 Small can of pineapple or cut a fresh pineapple into chunks.

  • 1/2 cup of raisins

  • 1/2 cup of chopped pecans or your favorite nuts (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon of Aldi's Tuscan Garden White Balsamic Peach Vinaigrette Dressing or your favorite fruit vinaigrette dressing

  • 1 teaspoon of Poppyseed salad dressing

Slice the large carrot

Drain the small can of pineapples. Place in a large bowl.

In the large bowl of pineapples, add carrots, raisins, nuts (optional), cut the remaining fruit into chunks or small slices and add to bowl.

Add the vinaigrette and poppyseed dressing to the fruit

Mix well, and ENJOY!
