An Overnight "Petite Fête"

The holidays have always been a season of glamourous festivities! Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year's Eve! Don't let this COVID season stop you from CELEBRATING! Create a FABULOUS overnight stay "Petite Fête" (Small party) for up to four people.

Fab Foodie Club Recipe for your overnight "Petite Fête" :

  • No paperware! Pull out your silverware, small platters, small plates, and champagne glasses.

  • Create or purchase easy small dishes: dried meats, dried fruit, crackers, toasted bread with bruschetta, assorted cheese tray, olive medley, and cocktail shrimp.

  • Create or purchase bite-size desserts. Below is an easy delicious truffle recipe

  • Purchase bottles of Champagne, Sparkling wine, or non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice

  • No ugly sweaters here! Have guests dress in their sparkling best.

  • Create an amazing playlist or Tune into Pandora

Delicious "Petite Fête" Easy Truffles Recipe


Things Needed:

  • 3 cups of semi-sweet chocolates

  • 3 cups of confectioner sugar (Make sure it is sifted)

  • One 8 ounce cream cheese

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of real vanilla extract

Truffle Toppings:

  • 1 cup of chopped nuts

  • 1 cup of coconut flakes

  • 1 cup of candy sprinkles

Melt your 3 cups of chocolate in a pot on low heat. Stirring often

In a large mixing bowl. Add the cream cheese, turn on the mixer to a low setting, mix cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the 3 cups confectioner sugar. Add melted chocolates and vanilla.

Refrigerate mixture for an hour. Take out of refrigerator and shape into balls

Roll the balls into one of your favorite truffle toppings.
